Falko, BirdLife Malta’s youth group, will be heading out on a festive nature walk around the breathtakingly beautiful Majjistral Park.
Majjistral Park is located on the headland next to Golden Bay, and it boasts stunning views along the dramatic northwestern coastal cliffs and out to sea across to Sicily on clear days. The park hosts a myriad of habitats, home to many endemic Maltese flora and fauna. As well as a rich array of wildlife, Majjistral is home to areas of historical significance of past agricultural and military activity. If you are aged 14-24 with an interest in nature, come along!
So don your favourite Christmas hats and let’s enjoy a merry mosey around the wild headland of Majjistral Nature and History Park.
Do bring along your cameras and/or binoculars because there will undoubtedly be plenty of opportunities to use them!
We will begin and end the walk outside the Majjistral Park visitor centre here.
