We call on all youths to take the opportunity to give new life to daily garbage and create something beautiful dedicated to nature at our workshop!
Art students from Verdala International School in collaboration with Bye Bye Plastic Bags (Malta), will hold a crafting workshop led by BirdLife Malta at HS1 (or HS2) class. We will split participants into groups and put them in a creative mood. You will create nature-related artworks out of recyclable materials in your teams.
Bring the waste that you created recently, with which you would like to create your art but make sure it’s clean (plastic bottles, plastic envelopes, cardboard boxes).
The most artistic team will win a one-year BirdLife Malta membership, which includes receiving the quarterly magazine Bird’s Eye View, our monthly newsletter and access to our amazing nature activities reserved to members only.
The event is open to the public, but please, if you’re not a Verdala student, kindly come to the reception to sign in!
