To celebrate Earth Day, BirdLife Malta would like to invite our Klabb Ħuttaf members to be mini ecologists on a two-day special event!
On Day 1 we will meet you at Foresta 2000 Nature Reserve where we will begin our journey to becoming mini ecologists! We will talk about wildlife and the benefits of monitoring their populations. We will then set up some camera traps with you! After this hard work, we will have some fun nature-based activities.
On Day 2, we will meet you at Salina Nature Reserve where our ecological journey will be completed. We will watch the footage captured by your camera traps over the week. You will then be able to identify and count the species caught on your cameras just like real-life ecologists! Of course, we will enjoy some fun games too. Once this is complete, you receive a certificate to prove you are now a certified mini ecologist!
