Come join us for an informative talk from the knowledgeable manager of our Salina Nature Reserve, Manuel Mallia. The presentation will discuss Salina and its importance in Malta, including the rich history of the 16th Century salt pans, and the ecological significance of the salt pan habitat. It will also include a short tour of the reserve.
Following this, we will go on a leisurely nature walk around the nearby countryside of Salini and Burmarrad. The walk will take approximately one hour and will be a round trip, starting and ending at Salina Nature Reserve.
There is plenty of parking space available next to Salina Nature Reserve, the location of the parking can be found here.
