Date: Tuesday, 27 October 2020
Location: Online (Zoom)
It’s been a while since we held an organised public event, and due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions it is still proving to be difficult to say when we’ll be able to restart our regular events in the near future!
We’re planning some activities for the coming months, which we’ll announce in due course when the situation hopefully returns to normal. However, to remain in contact with our members, the BirdLife Malta Events & Activities Committee will be organising a virtual Get-together later on this month.
The event will last around an hour, and will be held on Zoom. It will consist of a short introduction to the Committee and its work, followed by the screening of a documentary about birds: the RSPB video Getting to know birds. The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is our BirdLife partner in the UK. We will then end with a brief Q&A session.
To participate in the Zoom meeting, please book by dropping us an email on [email protected] by not later than the 20 October 2020 quoting your full name and BirdLife Malta membership number.
Places are limited and participants will be taken up on a first-come, first-served basis. Members interested in participating should also ensure that they have the relevant Zoom Video Conferencing app installed on their devices. Eligible members will be sent the Zoom meeting link two days before the event.
This is an exclusive members’ event and we would like to see many of our regular members but also others who have never joined us on one of our events!
