Ever wondered how we track bird migration? Well, now’s your chance to witness it firsthand! During the spring, our feathery friends travel back to Europe from Africa, and many stop to rest and refuel at the Salina Nature Reserve.
Join us on Saturday, 2nd May, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for an exclusive Open Ringing session, where you will get a behind-the-scenes look at how BirdLife Malta bird ringers safely study and release these incredible travellers. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see wild birds up close and learn about the science of bird conservation!
