The BirdLife Malta Events & Activities Group will be leading a nature walk as part of the Rabat AGAPE Festival 2023 around the Rabat (Malta) countryside, mainly the areas of Lunzjata and Santa Katerina.
This will be one of the events forming part of this festival which is held every year to celebrate the feasts of the Conversion and Shipwreck of St Paul. The nature walk will be organised in conjunction with Fondazzjoni Paulus, the organisers of the festival.
The walk will be a circular one, commencing at St Paul’s Square in Rabat and proceeding through the areas of Santa Katerina, Għajn Tajtes, Ħofret ir-Rizz, Dar tat-Talb Lunzjata and back to Pjazza San Pawl. We will meet at 14:00 at St Paul’s Square. Participants will be given an explanation of the several flora and fauna species which can be observed along the way, including different bird species one can encounter in these areas.
The event, which is free, will be open to the general public and anyone can participate, however booking is required. Please book your place by clicking on the button below and filling in the Google Form by not later than Wednesday, 8 February 2023.
