BirdLife Malta’s Events and Activities Committee are hosting another enjoyable and popular nature walk. This time we will be strolling through the natural environment of Wied Il-Għasel and Burmarrad. Don’t miss out!
Being a springtime walk, this is an excellent opportunity to spot some migrating birds flying north from Africa to Europe. Be sure to log your bird sightings on http://www.springalive.net and be a part of international citizen science research!
Route
The circular walk will commence at Mosta Parish Church, and will then proceed to Wied il-Għasel, Mosta Fort, Burmarrad, Wied Riħana, Bidnija, San Pawl Milqi, Salini and back to Wied il-Għasel.
The walk is classified as easy-to-moderate and is open to BirdLife Malta members and non-members. However, the number of participants is limited to 100 and bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Appropriate footwear is always recommended.
