Date: Sunday, 10 April 2022
Location: Mosta Parish Church (meeting point)
BirdLife Malta’s Events and Activities Committee are hosting another enjoyable and popular nature walk. This time we will be strolling through the natural environment of Wied Il-Għasel and Burmarrad. Don’t miss out!
Being a springtime walk, this is an excellent opportunity to spot some migrating birds flying north from Africa to Europe. Be sure to log your bird sightings on http://www.springalive.net and be a part of international citizen science research!
The circular walk will commence at Mosta Parish Church, and will then proceed to Wied il-Għasel, Mosta Fort, Burmarrad, Wied Riħana, Bidnija, San Pawl Milqi, Salini and back to Wied il-Għasel.
The walk is classified as easy-to-moderate and is open to BirdLife Malta members and non-members. However, the number of participants is limited to 100 and bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Appropriate footwear is always recommended.
Participation is free but booking is required. To book your place please click the button below and complete the form. Booking is open until 4th April 2022 unless limit is taken up before. Donations are welcome.
Participants should note that the event will be held in line with current COVID-19 regulations. For any difficulties or to request more information please email [email protected].
