Looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday with the family? Why not come and join us for our Family Fun Day at Salina Nature Reserve on Saturday, 24 July 2021! All ages are welcome to join us for the day, but please note that most activities will be best suited for 12 and under.
Our staff will be on hand for the day with a variety of fun activities and exciting educational stalls, which will be spread both within the reserve and outside along the reserve path. Which gives you and your children the freedom to choose what activities you would like to do, whether inside or outside enjoying the sun. To ensure we keep our staff and you safe we will be spreading each activity out to ensure correct social distancing is followed. It will be a mixture of self-led activities as well as some hands-on educational stalls, but please ensure face masks are worn and hand sanitizer is used before approaching the hands-on areas of the fun day.
We will also be setting a small challenge for the day for each family. If you can work out how to beat our challenge, make sure to show our staff as there may be a small prize up for grabs! Do you think you can beat us?
Booking
We are currently taking every precaution to stay safe and follow the current government guidelines. As a result of this, we will be taking bookings for our Family Fun Day to help with social distancing recommendations. There will be spaces for five families at each time slot, bookings will be taken for 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm & 2pm. Families are welcome to stay longer than their booked hour to continue to explore the reserve, but we do kindly ask that they respect social distancing for other families arriving throughout the day.

To register for this event, please email [email protected] by Thursday 22 July 2021 to request which time slot you would like to attend. Bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis so we cannot guarantee availability for requested times.
