Our new EU-funded LIFE project for seabirds LIFE PanPuffinus! was officially launched last month at Salina Nature Reserve with a small group by invitation only. To kickstart the project in a positive way, we are happy to announce an exclusive new membership offer. If you join us and become a BirdLife Malta member you can then take advantage of this exclusive limited time offer and book your seat on our Shearwater boat trip. Join us for a sunset boat trip to Ta’ Ċenċ, Gozo to enjoy the spectacular sight of the Scopoli’s Shearwaters ‘rafting’ on the water before returning to their nests in the cliffs.

Meeting point & time:
The meeting point will be at Ċirkewwa (Gozo ferry area, Comino jetty beneath the kiosk). We will meet at 18:30, with the boat scheduled to leave at 19:00.
Price:
Free! As a limited time offer, signing up as a new BirdLife Malta Adult (Single or Joint membership) or Family member you’ll be given the chance to join us on the boat trip completely free. However, if you wish to give any extra donation towards our ongoing work you can do so here.
Booking:
When you become a new member, our events team will then contact you via the email used to register your membership to give you more information on this offer. You can choose your membership category and sign up today by visiting our membership webpage here.
Please note that this is a limited time offer and becoming a member will not guarantee your attendance on the boat trip. Due to COVID-19 the boat will have limited spaces and will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important terms & conditions:
- This offer is only open to Maltese and Gozo residents. All who wish to attend a boat trip must have purchased one of the above-mentioned membership types, an Adult-Joint membership will entitle you to two adult spaces.
- Children under 5 years cannot attend due to health and safety restrictions of the boats.
- If the boat trip cannot go ahead as planned due to weather conditions or a change in COVID-19 restrictions, we will aim to notify you as far in advance as possible. Please note that if you chose to make a donation on our website in thanks for these boat trips, any donations will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
