Earth’s Ekko: A children’s plastic pollution adventure

July 10, 2020 8:12 pm

Date:            Sunday, 2 August 2020
Time:           14:00-16:00
Location:    Salina Nature Reserve

Did you know that every item of plastic that has ever been created is still with us on the planet today? In the mid-50’s we were told that plastic was suitable for single use and could simply be thrown away. We now know that to be untrue yet we continue to treat it as such. Join us at Salina Nature Reserve to learn more about plastic pollution and how you can help prevent more plastic reaching our environment.

Earth’s Ekko is a 20-minute documentary aimed at children aged 10 and younger. After which we will hold activities to demonstrate to your children the impacts of plastic pollution and the actions they can take to help the environment.
