Description
We’re excited to announce our 7th Nature Guardians course, starting in March 2025 and running until May 2025! Designed to inspire young conservationists, this program is all about engaging with nature, learning, and having fun.
Our Spring 2025 course features 12 weekly sessions on Sunday mornings (9am–12pm). Sessions will begin at Salina Nature Reserve, and some will also take participants to Għadira Nature Reserve, Simar Nature Reserve, and Foresta 2000. Transportation to and from these locations is included in the course fee.
The program begins on Sunday, 9th March, and concludes on Sunday, 25th May, with a special graduation ceremony to celebrate the children’s achievements. Sessions run for three hours (9am–12pm), with the final session extended to include the ceremony.
This course is limited to 12 participants, ensuring personalized attention with guidance from at least three dedicated BirdLife Malta staff members. Through hands-on activities, children will explore the fascinating worlds of birds, soil, water, insects, mammals, and plants, nurturing their understanding of the importance of protecting our environment.
The course fee is €260, which includes:
- A Nature Guardians T-shirt and cap OR a Nature Guardians hoodie.
- Transportation to the nature reserves.
- A Nature Guardians workbook to use during the course.
- A Graduation Certificate
- Regular meetings of the Nature Guardians after the graduation
