Description
We’re excited to launch the 9th edition of our Nature Guardians course this autumn – inspiring young conservationists through fun, engaging and educational outdoor activities.
Over 12 Saturday mornings, children will connect with nature, explore Malta’s unique wildlife and learn how to protect the environment.
Ages: 7–11
Dates:
- 11, 18, 25 October
- 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November
- 6, 13, 20 December
- 3 January (Graduation ceremony)
Time: 09:00–12:00
Locations: Salina Nature Reserve, Għadira Nature Reserve, Simar Nature Reserve and Foresta 2000 (transport included between sites)
What to Expect:
- Small groups (max. 12 children) for personal attention
- Led by experienced BirdLife Malta staff
- Hands-on activities exploring birds, insects, mammals and plants
- Creative projects highlighting conservation and biodiversity
Fee: €260 per child – includes:
Nature Guardians T-shirt and cap or hoodie
All materials and workbooks
Transportation between nature reserves
Graduation certificate
Alumni membership with free regular meetups
