Nature Watch: School field visits at our Nature Reserves

As part of Dinja Waħda’s focus on nature-based learning, BirdLife Malta offers free school visits to its Nature Reserves, giving students a unique chance to reconnect with the natural world.

What do Nature Watch field visits include?

Led by our team of field teachers, these Nature Watch field visits are tailored to different year groups and syllabus topics, complete with practical worksheets that link classroom lessons to experiences in nature.

Students are welcomed in our visitors’ centre for an engaging introduction to the reserve’s ecology and conservation value, then enjoy a walk through the site with stops to observe local wildlife and habitats up close, including birdwatching sessions from our hides.
