Nature Reserves Visitor Assistant – European Solidarity Corps volunteering position

BirdLife Malta is seeking a Nature Reserves Visitor Assistant to join its Land Management team through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). This full-time voluntary position offers hands-on experience in nature reserve management, visitor engagement and environmental education, while directly supporting bird conservation in the Maltese Islands.
The volunteer will be based at BirdLife Malta’s nature reserves – Għadira, Simar, Foresta 2000 and Salina – supporting visitor services, guided tours, educational activities, research and habitat management.
We are looking for someone aged 18–30 who is interested in nature and conservation, enjoys working with people, and has good communication skills. The role involves outdoor work, flexible hours and occasional weekends.
