Date: Sunday, 30 November
Time: 9:00 – 13:00
Meeting point: Mġarr Parish Church
Difficulty: Easy to moderate.
On 30 November the BirdLife Malta Events & Activities Group will be organising another nature walk. We will start from Mġarr and head to Fomm ir-Riħ, a small pebble bay on the western side of the island which we can see from the cliffs. From here our route will take us to Kunċizzjoni, where we will enjoy panoramic views of the countryside. We will then pass through Fort Binġemma which was built by the British as part of the Victoria Lines and circle back to Mġarr.
We’ll be meeting the participants in front of the Mġarr parish church at 8:45 to commence our walk at 9:00. This 13-14 km walk is an easy-to-moderate walk with some inclines on rough terrain. Appropriate footwear is recommended as some areas we will be visiting can be slippery if wet.
Participation is free and open to all however booking is required. Donations are welcome and appreciated.
Booking is open until 27th November 2025. For further enquiries please email us on [email protected]
