EuroBirdwatch 2025 is here and we’re doing our part!
This Europe-wide initiative of people coming together to witness the fascinating spectacle of bird migration is especially interesting to us, being located in Malta – a key stopover for migratory birds. However, we not only watch – we count the species and birds, contributing to collection of data across Europe to track bird migration. You can become a part of this citizen science opportunity by participating in one of our events during the EuroBirdwatch weekend!
On Saturday 4 October from 15:00 – 17:00 we will be birding at Buskett, keeping an eye out for birds of prey in particular! We will have experienced birdwatchers on site to share helpful tips and tricks and assist you with identifying the species. BirdLife Malta team will also provide binoculars and other learning materials.
Please note that our capacity is limited, so registration is needed to attend. To register complete a separate registration form for each person in your group.
