Time: 07:30–11:30
Location: Salina Wetland (Kennedy Grove Side)

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to witness Bird ringing – A vital research technique that helps us understand migration, lifespan, and population trends. On the public bird ringing day at Salina Wetland you will observe expert bird ringers in action, see birds up close and ask any questions!

Birds you might see up close:
Wood Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Pied or Collared Flycatcher, Spanish Sparrow, Common Redstart, Sardinian Warbler, Cetti’s Warbler and Willow Warbler.

Look up! Around the wetland, you might also spot Herons, Egrets, Yellow Wagtails, Great Reed Warblers, and if we’re lucky… a Cuckoo! Plus, Swallows, Swifts, and House Martins soaring above.

Don’t forget your Nature Passport! Stamp it and make this experience part of your journey. No registration needed—just come and enjoy the magic of bird migration! See you there!

The event is free and open to all! Just come and learn!
