Date: Saturday, 18th January 2025
Time: 10:00–13:00
Location: Salina Nature Reserve
Join us for a special day in nature designed for families with children with learning and developmental disabilities. This inclusive event provides a welcoming space to connect, explore, and celebrate the wonders of the natural world. Activities are flexible, allowing families to participate at their own pace or skip them if needed.
The day will include a presentation about the work done by BirdLife Malta and the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD), and the outcomes of “A Superpower to Defend Nature” project, as well as a variety of fun and engaging hands-on activities and a coffee break!
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we recommend that each child is accompanied by two parents or guardians throughout the event, as the location is close to the road and water.
We look forward to spending this meaningful day with you, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the beauty of the outdoors. 🌿
Participation is free but booking is required. To register, complete the google form below.
